Abstract

The proliferation of Radio Frequency (RF)-based Internet of Things (IoT) networks has raised considerable security challenges. This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the security threats associated with RF-based IoT networks, highlighting vulnerabilities such as eavesdropping, jamming, and spoofing. It evaluates existing security measures, discussing their advantages and shortcomings. Furthermore, the article investigates innovative technologies and approaches aimed at bolstering RF-based IoT security, including encryption protocols, authentication techniques, and anomaly detection methods. Practical case studies illustrate effective strategies for mitigating security risks. The review concludes by proposing future research avenues to enhance the security of RF-based IoT networks, emphasizing the necessity of collaborative initiatives to address the evolving nature of threats.
